Life

I am writing this post because of pain, pain for the unborn. I am not judging because that is not my job nor condemning because that is not my place either but I am struggling. This post may anger those who disagree with my beliefs but they are mine and I have every right to discuss them so if you are Pro-Choice please stop reading if you do not wish to hear them. There is a woman that I personally do not know going through a large spectrum of emotions currently. This woman recently found out that she is four months pregnant. Being so far along she and her husband rushed to the doctor to get a sonogram because the baby hasn’t had any prenatal care. During the sonogram the doctor noticed markers, markers for down syndrome. In the state that the woman lives they will do an abortion up to the fifth month for “birth defects”. Fast forward to today…today is the judgement day to determine if her baby will be allowed to live. Due to that extra chromosome this baby , the child growing in her womb has been deemed unwanted. Reasons have flown, the main one being money. I immediately emailed a friend to get information, the information that this woman needed to read before she made this decision, a decision that may affect her and her husband for the rest of their lives. Adoption, what a beautiful choice. If you cannot afford to have a child that may need more than you can give there are hundreds that can. Why? Why Lord do people murder the unborn because they are not perfect in their eyes? This baby is perfect in Gods eyes because he does not make mistakes, this child was created exactly how he or she was supposed to be. I emailed this birth story and this blog as well as the adoption information to hopefully show her the love that her unborn child could and deserves to have. Please pray with me today, pray for this husband and wife to heal the emotional pain that they are going through and pray that God speaks to this family and this perfectly created child is saved.

“Everyone is responsible for his life before God who has given it to him. It is God who remains the sovereign Master of life. We are obliged to accept life gratefully and preserve it for his honor and the salvation of our souls. We are stewards, now owners, of the life God has entrusted to us. It is not ours to dispose of.”
